Millennium Park, Chicago, IL

There is some really cool architecture down town!!!!!

This is a bridge that winds side to side over the free way

This is called the "Cloud Gate" or better known as the giant silver jelly bean! It captures the Chicago skyline and the clouds above it, and you can walk through the "gate" underneath to see your reflection! It weighs 110 tons!!!!!!! Made of seamless stainless steel plates. Pretty sweet!

Devon, Aida, Taya and Sienna

Taking pictures of ourselves:)

It kind of looks like a snow globe of the city:)

Our children running wild in the city! :)

Yet another artistic architectural display. These towers have l.e.d. images of people and then water flows out of their mouths and in this shallow pool. It symbolizes the statues and sculptures that they used to have with water flowing out of the mouth, symbolizing the flow of life, and the pictures are actual Chicago citizens, they took a cross draft of 1000 citizens in 2004 when this park was built. Pretty cool! It helped us to cool down quite nicely:)

Wouldn't be a trip to the city without chasing pigeons and ducks! They are so used to people, they will let you get sooooo close!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Jelly Bean! Isn't it cool. I took SO many pictures of it when Bri and I went. It was a nasty cloudy day though, it looked cool on a sunny day!

This was such a fun post! I loved seeing the clever architecture Chicago has to offer. That fountain and pool idea with the pictures of Chicago citizens is so clever!!

A quick synopsis of how this little Frogley family began!
