Happy 4th!!!!!!

We started the day off with the Fairfax City parade! How fun!

Sweet shot! I mean, even look at the shadow!

I just think it is funny that motorcycles some how scream, American!

Ellie and Dylan watchin all the fun!

Had to put up the bagpipes for the Frogley's!

This was the cutest little All American lady with her hubby! So patriotic!

Taya was a little grumpy this particular morning, but she cheered up through the night since we got to spend it with Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!

This was our sweet spot at the DC fireworks!!!! They shoot them right ouver the reflecting pool. Pretty sweet! And the crowds weren't nearly as bad as everyone warned us about:) We were pleasantly surprised! They had this whole section gated off and you had to get bag checks and all to go in. Needless to say, Nathan always carries a knife with him, we had to bury it in some bushes before we went in so Nathan could join us! We found it when the night was over:)
We had a nice open spot next to us becasue we were by the stage so we played some frisbe and hung out!

Alec threw the frisbe and it hit this poor Asian girl, she started to cry and everything. Nathan tried to console them, but of course, they didn't speak any english.

Taya got pretty good at it by the end of the evening. She even met a hispanic boy to throw it too. It was funny to watch them communicate when they speak different languages:)

Sienna feelin' a little patriotic:)

RED

WHITE

and kinda BLUE!

As soon as the fireworks started, Taya turned over and hid herself like this. She has never likes the fireworks.
But Sienna, on the other hand, LOVED THEM!!!!! Pointing and clapping and starring! SOOO cute!

This is just a picture of all the smoke from the finale! It was crazy!

And, Taya fell asleep, through it all. And it was loud!

THE FINALE!!!!! For about a whole minute they just let off firework after firework...
Then we got to ride the metro home! It was such a fun once in a lifetime adventure!
Happy 4th of July!!!!
