Cancun....... the fun side of the story:)

These are some T-shirts we found at the airport..... sooo funny! I wanted to buy one, ...but they were 30 bucks!!!!!!!!

This was our room....

And this is what is was like outside most of the time we were there..... :( very sad!
Windy, cloudy, and cold...

So we spent a lot of time in the hot tub... there was only one, so it was pretty busy most of the time. We did however have a little first discussion with the guy named Ryan from Indiana!!!! He is really interested in the church and wants to read the B of M!!!!!!! So Nathan has been keeping in contact with him and is sending him one now that we are home. (side note: we tried to get one there, but the local Bishop was being weird, we actually found his number and called him but he wouldn't give us the missionaries number! Imagine that!

Because of the weather we spent a lot of time at the markets, we found some cool stuff!

This guy did all of these with spray paint!!

A magical glimpse of the ocean, when the sun came out, I would scramble to get out my camera just so I could have a descent picture:)

More markets.... we actually found a hammock... for only 30 bucks, a big one that is make of the smaller thread so it is softer!

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sun came out! So we spent the day at Xel Ha. A natural lagoon with snorkeling, cliff jumping, a rope course, and all you can eat buffet food:) It was fun!

I got the splash of the dolphin, just too late to get it up in the air:)

There were tons of iguanas.. huge ones!!!! and we saw these other animals that had long spout noses running around in the jungle.

Rose and Neal.... such a good baby the entire trip!!! And Rose looks pretty hot, for just having a baby, he's only 3 weeks old!!

Coba ancient ruins, we climbed to the top and you can see all the jungle around you. THen we had a ride down on the bikes.

More markets! They would say the weirdest things, "one dollar" and then say one dollar off. "Cheaper than Walmart" "KMart blue light especial" "Cheap for you today" "Almost free today"
Then when we would make an offer, they would say," it's for sale, not for rent. Don't be Chinese!"

More ancient ruins.
Not sure why this picture is upside down. But this is where they would offer the gods gold and copper and throw in the bones of adult males and children.

THis was kind of like the temple, they would worship here and there were some underground tunnels.

Then they had an entire space with all these colums, they think there was a roof over them, used them for parties and big events.

The hole in the wall taco place... probably the best food we ate the entire time. We also ate in the local downtown at La Parilla, that was really good too! You have to pay to go to the bathroom2-4 pesos, not much but still, and there is usually no toilet paper, if you're lucky and they do have some, you can't flush it, you put it in a bucket when you're done right there in the stall. And the toilet is just the toilet, no seat to sit on.... watch out, you might fall in:)

On our tour bus, and yes, because of the weather, we are still pasty white!!!! A whole week in Cancun, we should have looked like Mexicans!!!!!!!

The very last night, I told Nathan we have to at least swim in the ocean by our hotel, we never got to, but it was warm and the moon was bright!!! Nathan is enjoying the ice cream that is at our buffet, he also enjoyed MANY MANY pina colada's- virgin of course- but he ordered them all through out the day!!!!!!! Cause is was all free of course!")
